Ear and Vertigo

Ear and Vertigo

ear-and-vertigo

Auricular or labyrinthine vertigo is rotational in character; patients feel that objects spin around them, or that their own bodies spin, when in fact the objects around them remain still.

In general, vertigo is associated with disorders of balance, vasomotor and neurovegetative manifestations (perspiration, nausea, paleness, vomiting, low blood pressure, miosis, hyperperistalsis, bradycardia), tinnitus, and sometimes hypacusis.
