Bronchial Asthma
Bronchial asthma is a respiratory disease characterized by bronchospasm, mucous congestion and mucous hypersecretion. Symptoms are generally triggered by an allergic agent, an allergen, and thus bronchospasm occurs. Crises may range from mild to severe, depending on how inflamed the airway is. Bronchodilators help improve bronchospasm, while inflammation is treated with glucocorticoids.
